The Witch Hunter has a prime motivation in life: to find and destroy corruption. They use Interrogation to weaken the strength and resolve of their opponents using various tactics and tools.

In close quarters the Witch Hunter is dangerous as they are agile and fast. They can increase the suffering of their foes by employing chrisoms, holy water, blessed aches and some other relics.

Witch Hunter Career Paths

The Path of Confession, Path of Inquisition and Path of Judgment are three career paths for the Witch Hunter.

Path of Confession

This path is all about direct opposition to heresy. Masters of Confession prefer to beat the truth out of the enemy rather than conduct investigations.

Path of Inquisition

This is a more focused path that contains more detailed, lengthy investigations. This can weaken the enemy over time until their guilt is assured. The attacks of an Inquisition

Master may seem weak at first glance however as the fight progresses the devastating effects of their attacks are increasingly felt.

Path of Judgment

If is assured that the target is guilty and no questioning is required then Witch Hunters can take the Path of Judgement. when the enemy’s attention is on something else, Masters of Judgement can take them by surprise.

They avoid face to face confrontations and when allies are nearby to distract the foe the Witch Hunter is at his most powerful as they are then able to administer potent attacks.

The Witch Hunter is a long time foe of Chaos, witchery and dark magic. It is an important role in the Empire as they cast judgement on those who are accused of serving Chaos.

However most people of the Empire still feel dread wash over them when they see a Witch Hunter as their preferable choice is to burn entire villages down if just one single Chaos follower is within.

Witch Hunters may carry tools like daggers, relics, stakes, chains and Empire and the Cult of Sigmar emblems. They also wield swords, torches and off-hand pistols as well as main-hand rapiers.

They are generally dressed in light armor with long coats and cloaks, buckled tunics and wide brimmed hats.
