Warrior Priest

The Warrior Priest belongs in battle. he is a master of battle and a defender of is faith. In fact, faith is a Warrior Priest’s life.

Warrior Priests worship Sigmar who defended and united the tribes long ago and then formed the Empire. warrior Priests serve to further the goals of the church as well as to defend the Empire.

The blessings of his god protects the Warrior Priest in combat. He is a master melee fighter and his Righteous Fury spreads his strength to his allies. Because the divine strengthens him, he is not only a lethal warrior but also a protector.

Warrior Priests are difficult to kill and are a very deadly opponent. Foes must be able to counter both the divine and melee abilities of a Warrior Priest.

A Warrior Priest looks moderately armored with a breast plate which is often worn over a long robe. Accompanying that are vestments of faith. He may world a powerful war hammer (sometimes a great hammer) and is usually ornamented with various symbols as well as books, regalia and other faith articles.

Career paths for the Warrior Priest include Path of Grace, Path or Wrath and Path of Salvation. The Path of Wrath is all about melee attacks. these attacks can hinder, harass and weaken the foe. Wrath specialist Warrior Priests are the most offensive focused of all types as they can damage the enemy as well as weaken them.

the Path of Grace is also focused on melee attacks which inspire the priest and his allies. A Master of Grace can use his warhammer to wreak havoc upon his foes. He can also improve both himself and his allies, making him valuable in side by side combat.

A Master of Salvation is all about magic. Healing abilities are the main focus, but these Warrior Priests will still need to appear in the front line of melee combat if they are to increase their Righteous Fury.

Righteous Fury increases as the enemy is struck down in Sigmar’s name. Divine powers of the Warrior Priest then grow with Righteous Fury. That means Warrior Priests have no choice but to participate in fights if they are to reach the peak of their power.
